Cambridge? LOL

To fill up my solemn, rusty holiday, I enrolled for an English course which comprises on brushing up my English, beside some general preparations for my interview Onion Emoticons.

It'd been quite helpful though. The first class was held on Saturday, then changed to Friday just because there was an Australian guy passionate to teach the Malaysians some English.(quite long story wan ) Everyone seemed to go with it MSN Onion Icons... (though there are few who wished to stay with saturday wan)

Cambridge University
hey its not what you think la... juz the certificate from cambridge, while syllabus is made by Malaysians...

The best part with the class is that it is located above McD. So, every time I finished the class, I would grab an Apple Pie and some drinks (sometimes) MSN Onion Emoticons   at the franchise before heading home. lol

The Friday class was quite troublesome, as I would have to rush as soon as I finished my Friday prayers.  Onion IconMy classmate, Mai was also in the Friday class. The hilarious part was one of the male student there was her admirer and he seemed to be jealous at me , though she was actually my ex-classmate only... MSN Onion EmoticonCome on... if u do like her, spit it out la, no need to piss me off... grow up please...  It's so lame u noe~

Few weeks later, I finally decided to convert back to the Saturday class. Apparently, the MALAYSIAN teacher, Ms Patrina, could teach better than an AUSTRALIAN. WHY???? ANSWER: EXPERIENCE~ (simple , right?) and my ex-schoolmate, Hizami was there too! It all went well, especially after a schoolmate of mine, Omar joined the class . Despite the fact that he seemed to be busy his bowling competitions, it was fun though. Friends are like puzzles that fill those empty spaces .

On the final day, which was somewhere around the end of march, everyone had to make a presentation... I wasn't THAT prepared.. MSN Onion Icon
but  who cares? !  Onion Icon

Its not about HOW MUCH you prepared, its about HOW YOU PRESENT ! Onion Emoticons

So,I merely utilized the knowledge i acquired about the Earthquake in Japan, and cooked
( in Malay, its more like goreng :-D the presentation....

Guess what? the food jadi liao~  Onion Icondamn nice presentation wan... (thats what my fren said la)

These are the boys students with our teacher, Miss Patrina. The picture was taken at the last day of the class. Just before we had our Pot of Luck! MSN Onion Icons

Then after Asar prayer, we had our pot of luck. Everyone arranged the food that they bring on a big table. The teacher blew the candles on the round cake, which marked the starting of the event. Then we enjoyed the food. The menu included some  pizzas,  cakes, nuggets, and carbonated drinks. My stomach so penuh d hor Onion Icon. It was exhilarating though~

Last but not least, the certificate-giving-ceremony. After all of us acquired the certificate. We took picture together and finally went home lo~~~~ Onion Emoticons

Vacation~

Ever heard of this quotation  ;

''All work and no play make jack's a dull boy''

If you have, then good lor~   Onion Icons

So I went to Genting Highlands  Onion Icons..
Just a while after one of my friend just went there...

The hotel we stayed in:
seems too... fancy? yeah I'd hav to agree with that... but its very nice though~

Too bad we arrived quite late,  and we only had the chance to...play....a ... few.... only ... for the outdoor theme park.. coz it was  RAINING!Onion Emoticon Set

So we went makan lor~ wat to do.... but at least got play a few roller coasters (not extreme ones) and some bumper boats, etc.
Oh yea, after that, I went to play some video games upstairs (first world plaza) and then had one bowling game....
If you haven't visited the bowling alley, do pay a visit!!!! It's fantastic!MSN Onion Icons (especially the lighting)

Next day, bought the indoor team park ticket, went for motion master (which was awfully boring) though it uses the so-called 4D tech...
So.... I ended up playing bumper car like, more than 25 times?
 LOL Onion Icon
Have a look at the BUMPER CAR !

Not to forget, I also visited the game arcade the other hotel, and played the basketball throwing thingy which was fun...
some car games ... and then just went off, not so much of nice video games though...  MSN Onion Icon

Then?  of course went home wor ~ wakaka

JPA interview Experience

Course: German Engineering (Electrical)
Venue: Faculty of IT , Uniten Cyberjaya
Time: 8.50
Date: 13 April 2011

My JPA interview was actually my FIRST interview, so i didnt have much experience.... Well,I kinda have some mixed feelings about this german programme, but it seems there's no other better choice.
I went there at 8 o'clock in the morning, which was like 50 mins earlier than the time of my interview ....The faculty of IT was very nice.

I found  a board, checked my name, its in the panel 5. with 2 chinese guys and 1 malay girl. Then I entered the nearby lift, with a malay guy, holding his blazer, like me. We went to the Floor 1. Its like a long pathway. arranged from Panel 1 to Panel 5. Right and Left handside are interview rooms.
I walked, and walked.... and walked, panel 5 is located at the end of the path. I saw a tall,fair-skinned, chinese guy sitting at the waiting chair. He seems very friendly and polite. He greeted me and we shaked hands. I dont remember his name!  Onion Icon ...He applied for sastera ikhtisas . Then, i went to the counter to sign in a namelist and hand in my file. While waiting for my turn, I chatted with him. It was quite fun. Initially we were both afraid that only 2 of us will be interviewed together which will enable the interviewer to shoot questions with M16.
Not long after that, came the malay girl, her name was Anis. While waiting for our turn, which started 30 minutes later than the actual time....
Ok, then came our turn, I wore my blazer and we head into the room. My number was 3. The interviewers consist of 3 people. We greeted the interviewers, stand in front of chair, asked permission to sit, and thanked the interviewers. Sitting in the middle was a malay woman, and beside her got a chinese guy and a malay guy which i recognised him in a Jom-Masuk U melaka education fair. Meanwhile, the woman at the middle looks similar with my Microsoft Word computer teacher at my Computer Short Course in Kajang.  hahaha...
The questions are all in Malay, while the group discussions topics, one in malay, the other on in english. I faced problems to translate certain English terms to Malay, which made me stuck a few times.MSN Onion Emoticon LOL

Basically I rated myself 7/10 for the first part. 5/10 for the first discussion topic and 6/10 for second discussion topic. However, who knows what the interviewers thinked of me anyway. haha
To my astonishment, when i was about to mention a word, but i forgot Onion Icons, suddenly the malay girl whispered the word, which saved me.Onion Emoticon She was applying for German engineering too, which made me like , her ...competition. So......yeah. I guess there are still humans on this earth that are not selfish, though as a matter of fact, humans are the most selfish creatures on earth.... (quotation my teacher once mentioned)
Then the interview session ended. We shaked hands with the interviewers and headed outside. I saw my schoolmate waiting at the waiting chair. Chatted for awhile, took my file, and headed to the lower floor. My mother was waiting at the waiting area. We had our breakfast-lunch. (somewhere in the middle, its like, second breakfast , lol) MSN Onion Icon Then we headed to the car where my father was waiting, and went home.

My weaknesses during JPA interview ;
1. Eye contact
2.Volunteering
3. Talk too fast
4. Pen (should put in blazer pocket liao)
5. Last but not  least, Where's my smile ?!  Onion Emoticon Set
    LOL

So.........I hope that there would be very kind organization that would award me a scholarship to english native speaking countries , i,e: Aus, UK,US. Onion IconsIf there isn't any, german/france also can la.. haha....
btw, the scenery there was captivating . So... I'll be looking forward in 2 weeks for the result. Hope for the best.MSN Onion Emoticons Insya-Allah.
